July Update & Surveys Info

Hi everyone!

We are still very fresh into July but a LOT is going on right now so it's worth updating you all on where we're at so far and give you some information about the surveys which will be going out this week!

FIRSTLY -- Please be sure that the e-mail you have on file is the one that you check often/frequently enough that if we need to reach you for any issues or questions we can absolutely do that without issue. If you do not respond in a timely manner we cannot guarantee your rewards when the campaign is fulfilled and we get folks reaching out to us 2-3 years after our project was fulfilled... yes... it has happened before.

SURVEYS

We will be sending out our Smoke Test after we post this update. We will be sending our surveys out through Backerkit so be sure to have Backerkit whitelisted in your e-mails! The Smoke Test means only about 5% of you will be sent your surveys to start with so that we might be able to catch any errors or mishaps or confusion. If all goes well we will be sending out the rest of the surveys on MONDAY.

When the surveys go out its important to note that we WILL NOT be locking any addresses until we are ready to ship and you will be given a couple notices, through project updates like this and a 48hr warning e-mail when your addresses will be locked.

We will also keep orders unlocked until July 31st so you can make adjustments to your items in the Backerkit up until that point.  We've set up the option for folks to add any of our other books to their orders as we usually wind up doing with these things so feel free to take your time making your selections if you wish to add anything on!

OTHERWISE we are always here to help, the best way to reach us is through Kickstarter DMs it keeps everything neat and orderly and we have access to your backer number and orders here to cross-check if there are ever any issues!

TRACKING

While filling out your surveys we've added an option for you to put TRACKING on your orders. The shipping offered during the Kickstarter are BASE PRICING so the cheapest and fastest we can afford to give you folks the best option. If you wish to purchase tracking we highly recommend you select this add-on so that we can give you a tracking number. IF YOU DO NOT SELECT THIS WE CANNOT TRACK THINGS FOR YOU. 

** NOTE: Canadians, your rewards via CANPOST especially in the bigger tiers often come with tracking due to Expedited shipping being the same price as regular so you don't need to add tracking to your orders.

PROGRESS

Its been a pretty busy couple of weeks so I wanted to also update you all on our current progress, here's our list of JULY items we wanted to accomplish:

DONE:

• We wait to receive funds from Kickstarter
• Finish setting up the backerkit in the meantime 
• Surveys are sent out [this week]
• Juniper draft is finalised 
• Juniper cover artist starts on the artwork for it. [cover is in the artist's hand's currently]

IN PROGRESS:

• Finish Making the edits suggested by editors on the Bronze draft
• Send Coquelicot to editors to edit

NOT YET STARTED:

• Write Lamplight
• Format and send Sapphire to Print
• Format and send Velvet to Print

A lot of these final steps are more on the time-consuming end of the scale but I am hoping to get some formatting on Sapphire done this week and sending those off to print by Friday if all works well and then shift the focus to Velvet after that so that while those are printing I can finalize Bronze edits and formatting & work on Lamplight to get the draft to the cover artist  and editors.  So far everything is working out like a well oiled machine so we're trying to ride this high as long as we can in case things go sour later!

SO FAR, nearly all of the collaborative efforts are almost done which means there will be less chance for delays and errors. But yeah! I'm excited and happy with how things are going so far. I should be back by the end of July with another update on things!

Hi everyone!

We usually wait until after the campaign to make a post so we'll try to be really brief with this update!

I just wanted to let everyone know that it was brought to our attention that we didn't have an add-on for the digital 'set' bundle of the books so I created one for those who were interested in getting that along with their physical rewards. 

Likewise, to clarify, any collector or super collector tiers automatically get any and all the digital downloads we're providing. We made those tiers a bit on the fly so I definitely made some errors that can't be fixed once a backer has pledged to them unfortunately. 

OTHERWISE we only have a few hours left and we are extremely close to funding the bookmark stretch goal!  I think we can make it today even and see how close we can get to the patch!

A reminder, these are the stretch goals we have UNLOCKED!!  Wow!!!

Here are the last two we are steadily making our way towards!!

Thank you for all of your patience and all of your help getting this project to where it is now!  We still have time to make strides before this is over. I can't wait to get these beautiful books in all your hands <3
